October 20 to 26 is Ontario Public Library Week, and the Timmins Public Library is pleased to be
offering a week of activities and events in celebration of the occasion.
*all events will be taking place at the Main Branch unless otherwise stated.*
• Book Sale (All Week)
• Interactive Displays – ‘I Spy’ & ‘Which Genre Are You?” (All Week)
• ‘Why I love my library!’ Free Draw (All Week)
• VIDMAR Makerspace Open House Tours (registration required) – Wednesday, Oct. 23 and
Thursday, Oct. 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
• Patron Appreciation Day – refreshments served (both branches) – Friday, Oct. 25 (All Day)
• Chat with your Librarians – Patron Appreciation Social – Friday, Oct. 25 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
For Older Adults
• Senior Games Social (C.M. Shields Centennial Branch) – Monday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m.
• St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs for Older Adults – Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
