Ancestry is a terrific resource for performing genealogical research, and contains Canadian, American, and British records, among many others.  Ancestry is only accessible in-library using our public computers or while logged on to our public wifi.

 

 

 

AudioBookCloud : Listen online to audio books in many different categories: fiction, non-fiction, classics and Spanish language. There are 1,000 books in the collection. These books are always available, never on hold, and no need to download.

 

Frontier Life Borderlands, Settlement & Colonial Encounters:This digital collection of primary source documents includes material from the Hudson Bay Archives, the Glenbow Museum and Archives of Manitoba that helps us to understand early settler life in English colonies from 1650-1920. Discover the various European and colonial frontier regions of North America, Africa and Australasia through documents that reveal the lives of settlers and indigenous peoples in these areas. Frontier Life brings together documents from sixteen archives and libraries around the world.  Access to this collection has been made possible by Adam Matthew, Consortia Canada and 18 leading academic institutions.

Hoopla: Hoopla is a digital streaming service that allows library members to borrow movies, television shows, documentaries, music, eBooks, comics and audiobooks for free. Titles can be borrowed via a web browser, smartphone, tablet or your smart television
